This lovely creature hails from Oakland, California. He paints, plays accordion, sings like a lark, and builds exquisite puppets. He is the founder of The Museum Proper, a puppet-based spectacle performance ensemble, and a leading member of Corpus Callosum. Later this month, I will be visiting his studio in Oakland to learn more about his work. I will keep you posted. In the meantime, look at this beautiful thing.
Another fox in the brush. I have never seen his face, but I hear that he's only a year or so older than me, and he might be Swiss. Other than that, I know little about him. I only know of his incredible illustrations, prints, and animation. Seattle composer and experimental siren Amy Denio introduced me to him in this chilling and beautiful music video. If you know more about him, please let me know.
